The :60 TV Public Service Announcement we created for Casa de Amparo's fundraising campaign won a 2009 International Telly Award!

Louie was chosen to serve on the Silver Telly Council after recently being awarded two 1st Place Tellys for videos for Casa de Amparo and Seaside Center for Spiritual Living. In addition, in 2004 Louie was awarded a "Best of the Best" 25th Anniversary Gold International Telly Award for the video he wrote, produced, directed and edited for Welcome Back Centers.

ASCAP is the American Society of Composers and Publishers, which Louie joined in 1987 as a writer member (both music and lyrics).

Louie wrote the musical video Don't Say Yes When You Really Mean No! in th late 1980's while he was the Music Director with "Just Say No" International — remember Nancy Reagan's "Just Say No" Clubs with more than one million schoolkid members?

Since 1989, more than 10,000 schools, libraries and youth groups have purchased both "Don't Say Yes..." and "Raging Hormones," and in fact, both videos are still popular today and continue to be purchased! To date, an estimated 10 million schoolchildren worldwide have viewed these two educational videos!

The ASCAP Special Awards Program is a financial award given to ASCAP members whose songs are not able to earn royalties because they are presented in non-profit venues such as schools, libraries and youth groups.

In 2007 we were awarded four International TELLY Awards! The TELLY Awards are like the "Oscars" for non-broadcast video productions. Each year there are 13,000+ entries which — rather then being judged against each other, are judged on their own individual merits.

We were awarded a 1st Place 2007 International TELLY Award for the "Seaside Center for Spirtual Living" video. A first place International Telly Award is rather difficult to get. In fact, of the 13,000+ entries in 2007, only about 600 were awarded a 1st place TELLY — less than 5% of the entrants, making this a very special honor for us and for "Seaside Center for Spirtual Living."

We also were awarded three 2nd Place 2007 International TELLY's. About 2,500 of the 13,000+ entries in 2007 were awarded a 2nd place TELLY.

We won for our updated Welcome Back video, Eddie Osterland, America's 1st Master Sommelier, and the third for Wealth Masters... Shopping and Cooking with Deanna for Optimum Health.

We also were awarded two Honorable Mentions in the highly prestigeous Columbus International Film & Video Competition, one for Eddie Osterland, America's 1st Master Sommelier, and the other for Wealth Masters... Shopping and Cooking with Deanna for Optimum Health.

RMV Technology Group, LLC is an international leader in testing and evaluating Electro Static Discharge (ESD), for several markets, including aerospace, high technology and manufacturing.

RMV chose us to film Bob Vermillion, RMV's Founder and Chief Technology Officer, in their lab near San Jose CA located at the NASA Ames Research Center (ARC). Mr. Vermillion will demonstrate how to properly ground both a workstation and yourself when handling Class 0 electronic devices. Simply put, how to ensure you do not induce static electricity into electronic components, such as circuit boards, which could destroy electrical components.

This is the fourth year I've created Grossmont Healthcare District's annual "Healthcare Heroes Awards" luncheon live event video. This video honors healthcare volunteers who truly are heroes. Click on the picture above to find out why.

We are proud that once again Casa de Amparo chose us to create their latest video — our third video project with them in the past few years. This new video is a live event video, and it premiered in November at Casa de Amparo's 2009 Crystal Ball Gala held at the Fairbanks Ranch Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. This annual Gala is Casa de Amparo's premiere fundraising event of the year.

Dr. Kerri Parks, OB/GYN and her writer / producer; Devin Bailey, traveled from Los Angeles to FIlmsYouFeel.com and Magic Music Productions in Encinitas to record the first in a series of "Mommy Meditations" audio CD's.

These new meditation CDs are designed to help new mothers — who, after the birth of their baby, are experiencing post-partum depression — to learn about and experience, the benifits of meditation.

In addition to recording and editing this new Meditation CD, I also edited the VO script, making it "warm" and friendly to the listener.

For three years in a row I've created Grossmont Healthcare District's annual "Healthcare Heroes Awards" luncheon live event videos. I find that I am truly inspired learning about the heroes, filming them and editing their stories.

Singer-Songwriter Karl Anthony writes anthems for life.

Karl received the 2007 Gandi / King Season for Nonviolence Peace Hero Award for his humanitarian efforts and uniting music.

Karl's producer asked Louie Stevens to work some video "magic" — to create a new music video for his new song: "Dear Mr. President" from previously shot footage. "Dear Mr. President" tells the story of a little girl who writes a letter to President Obama asking him to "Please do your best". Her letter inspires other children to write as well, and inspires Karl to write this song.

Louie is now working with Encinitas based producer Beejal Parmar, creating a one-hour educational character building musical DVD school program based on Karl's live school show.

In 2003 I created Grossmont Healthcare District's first PR video. A lot has happened with healthcare in East San Diego County since then, and this year the District asked me to write and produce a new, updated video to reflect these important changes.

Grossmont Healthcare District is one of the 70+ Healthcare Districts in California, which oversee local district hospitals. Grossmont Healthcare District's governing board oversees Sharp-Grossmont Hospital, serving more than 500,000 residents in East San Diego County.

In recognition for creating Casa de Amparo's new TV PSA, Louie Stevens, Video Producer and Director of FilmsYouFeel.com and Magic Music Productions, recently was honored at the opening of Casa's new Child Development Center in Oceanside.

Presenting Louie with this beautiful painting of flowers created by a child in Casa de Amparo's program, are; Kathy Karpe, Casa de Amparo's Director of Development, and; Sharon Delphenich, Casa de Amparo's Executive Director.

This new PSA is playing on TV stations thoughout San Deigo, and was created to bring awareness about child abuse in San Diego County, and about the child abuse prevention progams Casa de Amparo offers.

L1 Technologies came into our studio to record 450+ instructional phrases for their new GPS product.

Rancho Santa Fe Security Systems is one of San Diego's largest and oldest security and protection companies, protecting San Diego County residential and business properties since 1978.

We are now creating their first video — a "What We Do" video for their website.

October, 2008: One Productions, an Encinitas based video production company, called on us to film their client Lisa Nichols of "The Secret" fame conducting a one-day workshop with teens for an upcoming TV program.

In September, 2008, One Productions has us record live to Protools a three-day conference conducted by Lisa Nichols.

Last year I created Grossmont Healthcare District's first ever "2007 Healthcare Heroes Awards" banquet video. It was a huge success, so the District asked me to create the "2008 Healthcare Heroes Award" video, which you can watch by clicking on this picture...

I just completed editing three different video projects for San Diego's Rock Church.

The first project was two short videos created to open a conference in Jamaica by The Rock Church's Pastor Miles McPhearson.

The second project was editing a 30 minute video they are sending to churches in advance of an international Miles Ahead Ministries campaign.
